2 1/2 sticks unsalted butter (beat until soft)

1 1/4 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup light brown sugar (cream together butter & sugar until light & fluffy)

add 2 eggs (1 at a time)

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 1/4 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon kosher salt (dump in all at once, mix slow)

2 cups chocolate chips

ice cream scoop?

bake at 350 degrees, 8-15 minutes
